Monmouth County Land

We have VERY exciting news! A donor has quite generously agreed to donate a plot of land of approximately 1.25 acres to us in Monmouth County which we’re hoping to be able to construct a community for the homeless upon.
Due to the very suburban location of the land, we’re looking to place tiny homes upon it immediately instead of starting out with tents and transitioning to tiny homes as we had originally intended for our first facility. Both sides have signed off on the transfer and, as long as the title search comes back clear, we will be closing on the property within a month.
But it takes a village to build a village and a project like this will very likely need to go through a planning board for approval and could face backlash from local residents who may unfortunately have negative views of the unsheltered.
We had a volunteer real estate attorney who had initially agreed to assist us with this project, but he unfortunately passed away very unexpectedly some months ago.
So there are many things that we need to bring this vision to fruition:
-Pro Bono Legal Counsel and Planning Experts
-More partnerships with community and religious groups across Monmouth County that care about the local homeless
-Funds for the various costs involved with our organization and a project like this
-Businesses willing to provide supplies with which to build mobile tiny homes
-Volunteers willing to help construct the tiny homes themselves
PLEASE share this information with all your friends so we can get the word out and start making the connections necessary to help the poor people camping in the woods in our area!
